Last night, we saw the fantastic West End musical Oliver! in London...and then were lucky enough to meet the star of the show Rowan Atkinson (aka Mr Bean) in person. He was very kind and came up to me and signed his autograph. He even posed a la Mr Bean for this photo. Nice chap!

The British vs The Scottish!!

Since when has there been a difference with the value of the exchange rate between the British Pound and the Scottish Pound?!! Well, this local Toruń bureau de change obviously thinks there is!! Something not quite right!!

70's Disco Party

Last night our school had a 1970s themed party here in Toruń. Yours truly donned an afro and full 70s gear...and here is the result! A great night!

Comic Preparations!

This was the scene today in the main square of Toruń as they got ready for the Kabaret comedy show which will be broadcast live from Toruń and Bydgoszcz tomorrow on Polsat TV.

Bubble Boy!

These pictures were taken a few minutes ago in the main square of the Old Town. These young guy was entertaining the kids (and making some money) by selling this special bubble mixture! In the 2nd picture you can see the iconic "Garry Cooper" image of the cowboy which was a symbol of Solidarity back in 1989. After all, today marks the 20th anniversary when communism was overthrown in Poland.
