Ticket Mission
Off to see Polish band Riverside perform. What a lot of hassle just to get the tickets. Firstly I had to go to a large electronic shop. I then had to walk all the way to the back of the store to a desk. I then had to wait for about 5 minutes for a specialised shop assistant to come and help me. I told him I wanted to buy tickets. After 5 minutes he eventually printed the tickets out. He also printed out an A4 document which I then had to take all the way back to the front of the shop. After paying the cashier, she then stamped the A4 document and I had to take it to the information point. At the information point another woman then compared the details of the A4 document with the information in the ticket. I then had to sign the A4 document and then the document was then checked again by a security guard. Only then was I allowed to hold my brand new tickets in my hands.

A New Year and a New Start!
Apologies to everyone for the delay in updating TORUŃ DAILY PHOTO. Have no fear...we are still very much active. In fact last week Glenn Standish was awarded the title of Honorary Ambassador of Tourism in Toruń. Many thanks to President Michał Zaleski and Toruń City Council. It is a real honour!

Graffiti and the Toruń Skyline
Here is an interesting view of the Toruń skyline from the top of an old Prussian war bunker. There are many bunkers circling the city and many more smaller ones within the old town. Some of them were even used by the Nazis during WWII as POW camps.
