For those of you who don't know...Toruń has been twinned with Philadelphia, USA since 1976. At the moment there is a group of American teenagers over here from 'Philly' on a special youth exchange visit. So far their programme has been jam-packed with the notable highlight being a close encounter with the legendary former President of Poland Lech Wałęsa.

This post is specially dedicated to Mike Braciszewski in Philadelphia whose daughter Manon is currently over here on the trip. He first contacted us a couple of days ago looking for information about the visit...so here it is!

How exciting! I think student exchanges are such a great experience for young minds - it's something they will always remember, and it sounds like meeting a former president will be an unforgettable highlight.
