Orange Wednesdays has been running in Poland for the past few months (the UK has had them for several years!). Any Orange mobile phone customers can go to the cinema on Wednesdays - two for the price of one. Today not only is it a Wednesday but it's also a public holiday (11th November is Poland's Independence Day)....which meant things got really busy!This was the scene a few hours ago...crowds of people all trying to get their tickets. Poles don't really queue either...so instead there was literally just a mass of people! The hot ticket today was 2012 - the end of the world action film which has just opened worldwide. All showings were sold out!
